The Good Road of Life: 3-Day Conference
July 9 - July 11
The Good Road of Life curriculum is a trauma-informed, culture and resilience-based program endorsed by state and federal agencies and tribal leaders. The topics include SB 2304 implementation, coping with multiple risk factors as a result of historical and ongoing trauma, self-care, facilitation, and strategic planning.
Trainers
- Clayton Small, PhD, Lead Trainer – Enrolled member of Northern Cheyenne Tribe, author of Good Road of Life curriculum and trainer for 40 years, and CEO of Native PRIDE
- Dr. Wayne Trottier Jr., Co-Trainer – Enrolled member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and US Army veteran. 40 years experience as an educator, mentor, coach, principal, and superintendent of schools.
