Summer Teacher Institute 2021

Join educators from around the state as they learn about the new North Dakota Studies high school curriculum and the Inquiry Design Model.

The Summer Teacher Institute will feature hands-on opportunities to develop inquiry materials. The institute will be held in a hybrid format both online and in person July 26-29, 2021, at the Heritage Center & State Museum in Bismarck, ND. The content focus is the new North Dakota Studies high school curriculum, but participation is open to educators of all grade levels. Capacity is limited–register soon!

2021 Personalized Learning Institute

Northern Cass is proud to announce registration has opened for the 2021 Personalized Learning Institute. You will hear from experts in the field on how they have led their districts in the transformation to personalized learning.  Keynotes by leaders in Wisconsin, Minnesota, California, and South Dakota will be  inspiring while providing you with strategies to shift your practice! Not only will you hear their story but you will also be able to work in small groups and receive coaching from experts in the field. Coaching will be focused on a variety of topics which can meet the needs of any educator or district! Breakout sessions will be led by educators from South Dakota, Minnesota, Ohio, California, and North Dakota.  This conference is for everyone as there will be breakout sessions for counseling, CTE, special education, and many other areas!  Administrators, teachers, and specialists will all find ideas and strategies to implement immediately in your district.

 

Join us for the Personalized Learning Institute on Wednesday, June 23rd and Thursday, June 24th.  The conference will be face-to-face at Northern Cass School in Hunter, North Dakota.

  1. Earlybird: March 1 – April 30: $100/person
  2. Regular: May 1 – June 16: $125/person
    1. 5+ from one district drops cost down to $80/person no matter time of registration.

What a school year it’s been. And while a year can bring unthinkable trauma and disruption, it can also carry seeds of opportunity. Now is our once-in-a-generation chance for a hard pivot: away from the status quo, toward an equitable, student-centered future.
