Creativity in the Classroom
An essential skill in the knowledge economy is the ability to understand a problem and then find innovative ways to solve it. In this professional devleopment course, learn to inspire creativity in the classroom.
The best way to learn it is to do it, so you will practice using active and problem-based learning for both in-person and online settings. You will use design thinking exercises, entrepreneurial frameworks, brain writing techniques, and ideation activities.
Additionally, we will introduce you to tools and curriculum that can help you integrate entrepreneurship, design thinking, innovation, and creativity into any classroom.
Guided by our mission of entrepreneurship for all, Creativity in the Classroom is designed by The Nice Center at NDSU and will be taught by Scott Meyer, Director of Entrepreneurship. The course will be online and work will be done asynchronously. The course begins June 7 and will be complete on June 28.
