2024 North Dakota Music Educators Conference
Bismarck Event Center 315 S 5th St, BismarckThis year, we are excited to welcome headliners renowned throughout the United States for the fields of Band, Choir, Orchestra, and General Music with performances from featured music programs in North Dakota. Topics included in this year’s conference are mental health strategies in music classrooms, orchestra reading sessions, guides to lesson planning in general music, twenty-five mistakes to avoid as a young band director and many more!
Regardless of the grade level or music content they teach, there are sessions for all music educators. On behalf of NDMEA, I strongly encourage you to permit attendance at the 2024 North Dakota Music Educators Conference with professional leave and substitute teachers. Supporting your music teacher’s professional development is a way to grow your district’s music programs, keep your educators up with the best current practices in music education, and connect them with other colleagues throughout the state. In an effort to honor different school calendars and budgets, full-conference or day-of registrations are available.
There is a rate for both NDMEA members and non-members on our website. Conference sessions and schedules are available on our website: www.ndmea.org. Attendance at the conference can also qualify for continuing education credit through Valley City State University.
