Where: University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, North Dakota
Who: 9-12th Graders (no limit to the number of participants)
What: Explore Advanced Agriculture Technologies in Space with the Understanding That Solutions to Space-Based Challenges Can Often Be Applied to Those on Earth.
Cost: Free for Students and Educators (lunch is provided)
Attendees can expect to:
- Engage in hands-on workshops and activities.
- Meet with experts from universities, industry, and NASA.
- Plant seeds that have flown to the near edge of space.
- Fly drones on an obstacle course to resupply a small experimental station on Mars.
- Experience flying a drone using a simulator.
