Pathways Literacy Leadership

January 5 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

AIM Pathways is an interactive, digital professional development platform designed to strengthen educators’ knowledge and skills in the science of literacy instruction. In order to translate theoretical models into classroom practice, AIM PATHWAYS™ courses are designed to follow a Learn, Practice, and Apply cycle. Participants acquire knowledge through hundreds of learning tools including articles, teacher classroom videos, animations, and videos of experts in the field.
Participants will then practice with specially-designed interactive activities and downloadable resources to help them translate their new knowledge into instructional practice. Finally, participants demonstrate an understanding of the content by applying their new knowledge to real-life classroom scenarios via multi-step student case studies. All Pathways participants receive virtual coaching sessions to facilitate and support knowledge acquisition and classroom implementation.

Pathways to Literacy Leadership is the School Administrator’s companion course to Pathways to Proficient Reading. This course covers the foundational knowledge in the science of reading but also focuses on the Science of Implementation to support administrators as they evaluate curriculum, assessments, and literacy practices within their organization. This course will help school leaders develop a literacy plan for their school/district.

Entire course is online. It starts on January 5th, 2021 and ends on June 1st, 2021.

Perfect for Administrators: Assistant Superintendents, Curriculum Directors, Coordinators, Special Education Directors, Principals, & Assistant Principals
