Professional Development for paraeducators and other support staff who play a role in modeling responsible behavior and contributing to student success. This professional development is based on ParaPro: Supporting the Instructional Process. The course provides paraeducators the information needed to support students in a way that allows them to focus more on schoolwork and less on misbehavior.

Participants will learn how to:
*be a part of the school team
*supervise common areas, supervise independent work periods, and
*work with small groups or individuals while building relationships with students through increasing their positive interactions, teaching expectations for behavior, and correcting misbehavior effectively.

Benefits to participants in this course include improved academic outcomes, greater job satisfaction, and positive improvement in the school climate and culture.
The free course includes the book “Para Pro: Supporting the Instructional Process”.
