NDASRO 2020 Conference
The North Dakota Association of School Resource Officers (NDASRO) are holding their 2020 conference at Legacy High School in Bismarck June 17-19, 2020. Topics presented include resilience, social media, gangs, FERPA, SRO programs, vaping, CPTED, etc.
Christian Moore (Resilience) and Rick Wistocki (Social Media) will be keynote speakers. There are CEU credits available thru NDSU/UND. Continuing education credit for social workers and POST credit for law enforcement officers will be available as well.
Great training to keep abreast of current trends and solutions, network with other professionals from across the region, as well as other professions involved with school, student, staff safety in and out of our schools.
NDASRO 2020 School Safety Conference
NDASRO (North Dakota Association of Schoor Resource Officers) is an organization focused on school safety. School safety includes physical, mental, and emotional safety of the students, staff, and families associated with the schools of North Dakota. Our membership is made up of law enforcement, school personnel, parents, social workers, and many others with a vested interest in the safety of our school and communities as a whole.
Career Explorer Workshop
A hands-on professional development opportunity for teachers, counselors and administrators. Join us to learn everything Bismarck State College has to offer in a variety of fields, including energy, agriculture, cybersecurity, health care, and more! Teachers, counselors or administrators attending this event receive free admission, dorm lodging and meals (provided by Bismarck State College). Continuing Education credit (2 credits) is available for attending, provided by the University of Mary. In addition, attendees will experience numerous hands-on learning opportunities to explore new and emerging technologies in today’s top careers.
2020 ND Early Childhood Institute
The ND Head Start Association is partnering with the ND Home Visitation Coalition to provide a fabulous day of training on the “Energy Bus”.

2019 Fall Educators Conference
The 2019 Fall Educators Conference has something for everyone! It has been carefully designed to meet the needs of a multitude of educators and will host a variety of presenters, sessions, and activities.The purpose of this conference is to share and disseminate information about effective instructional practices, and provide updates on federal and state issues. The breakout sessions are designed to provide training for teachers, administrators, technology coordinators, counselors, special education staff, early childhood personnel, and specialty staff such as instructional coaches, Title I teachers, data coordinators, and RTI strategists and more.
