Middle School CyberTeacher Day 4-Online

Complete and submit a final assignment and virtual connection: Continue to understand what options are available to their students as they begin to incorporate STEM in the core subject areas. Teachers will demonstrate an understanding of the STEM EDA and micro:bit curricula, as well as a deeper dive into the humanities that are at play in the world of privacy vs security and artificial intelligence. Upon completion of all four days, participants will become NICERC Certified and be able to apply for additional endorsements to teach 27120: Intro to Programming Languages (HS), and 27280: Intro to Cybersecurity (HS)

(Fee for additional endorsement is the sole responsibility of the participant. 2019 Girls Go CyberStart-Virtual Webinar

Learn more about the Girls Go CyperStart program. All girls in North Dakota currently in Grades 9-12 are eligible to participate in an online series of challenges that allow students to act as cyber protection agents to solve realistic problems and puzzles and explore exciting, relevant topics such as cryptography and digital forensics.

  • Transfer information to other educators in your school/district.
  • Promote this program in your school/region to High School students.
