The North Dakota State Library offers a two-day course for one professional development credit at the State Library. This year’s class will be held June 27-28, 2019. The course explores different methods of research, library subscription databases, Creative Commons and Open Education Resources. The class will teach practical applications that can be used in the classroom. If you are a new librarian, a library assistant, a teacher, or just need a refresher, this is the class for you.
The course will be available for professional development credit for Library Media Specialists through Valley City State University. For educators the credit will be available through the University of North Dakota, North Dakota State University, and Minot State University.
**The fee is only for the credit; please pay it directly to the university.
**Course is 8:30AM-4:30PM on Thursday and Friday, June 27th & 28th.
