LMIS 2000 – Barriers to Access: Rethinking Lost Books & Fines Practices in the School Library

Participants will examine their current practices with regards to lost books and fines and commit to making at least 2 changes in policy/procedure. Plans for change should include principles of restorative justice and intellectual freedom and demonstrate awareness of the how these practices impact students from diverse racial and socioeconomic backgrounds.
